Alpha United Earth Credits. This is the in-game money you earn while you play. It is normal for aUEC to reset when the game wipes player progress during alpha.
The kiosk you use to retrieve your ship, manage vehicle spawns, and get moving from a hangar or landing zone.
Your wrist computer. It is where you open contracts, check inventory, read the journal, manage your ship, and find the map.
The starter purchase that includes game access. A standalone ship is not enough on its own — a package is the bit that actually lets you play.
A limited-time official event where RSI lets new players try Star Citizen for free. It is the best time to test the game before you spend money.
A code you enter during RSI account creation so the official new-player bonus applies correctly. It needs to be added before signup finishes.
Fast travel between locations in the same system. It is how you cover big distances without flying the whole way in normal space.
An in-game mission offer. Early contracts usually live in mobiGlas and are where most beginners start earning aUEC.
The process for getting your ship back after it is destroyed or lost. New pilots see this often enough that it is worth learning early.
A reset of player progress during alpha. When a wipe happens, gear, money, or inventory progress may not carry over.
